February 8th: DAV VSO Event
*************************************************************************

Hello Veterans and Families,

In October our Vet Center worked together with the Delaware DAV to provide our Vet Center clients with information and disability claims sessions. We are pleased to announce that this will be a quarterly event! The next information and claims submittal session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8th, from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm at the DE Army National Guard (109 W Pine Street in Georgetown). This time around there is no sign-up or RSVP needed—just attend the time that works best for you. The seminar will be held in the basement of the building and it is handicapped accessible. Spouses and caregivers are welcome to attend, as well!

At the event you can find out more information about the claims submittal process, submit an intent to file with a Veterans Service Officer (VSO), learn about the PACT Act and Vet Center services, as well as other VA benefits and services. If you are interested in filing a claim, a VSO will assist you with this after the information session. If you have never filed a VA Disability Claim before and wish to file one, please bring your DD214. I will be at the event along with our Outreach Specialist, John Richter, to assist in any means possible.

Please see flyer for additional information. If you know any veterans that may be interested in attending, please feel free to forward this information and flyer to them!
